John M. Mulligan retired from practicing law and began a writing career.  He has four published novels.  His novels have largely been based on his life experiences, including playing football in high school, serving as a cook in the Navy, and attending law school.  His fourth novel is a baseball detective story.  When not writing, he likes to spend time with his grandchildren.

John reports that he very much enjoyed practicing law at Mulligan & Bjornnes, owing particularly to his co-workers and clients.  He now enjoys writing, staying physically active, travelling, and attending the occasional ballgame.
